Supply characteristics and earthing arrangements
The Supply Characteristics and Earthing tab of the EICR and EIC 2026 certificates records the earthing arrangements, the number and type of live conductors, and the nature of the supply parameters.
Reporting Ze as Zdb
The model forms label the earth fault loop impedance of the supply as Ze, the external earth fault loop impedance. Sometimes the value you record wasn’t measured at the origin — for example, when you can only measure it at a distribution board. You can then report it as Zdb, or as one of the other points it may have been measured at.
Under Nature of Supply Parameters, choose the point from the box after the External earth fault loop impedance value:

The label beside the value changes to match your choice. New certificates start with e, as do certificates made before this option was added.
