What BS 5266 certificates cover

BS 5266 covers emergency lighting — the escape and standby lighting that keeps occupants safe if the mains supply fails. The model certificates let you record whether an installation is large or small, a small installation being denoted as fewer than 25 emergency lighting luminaires, and to produce a periodic inspection certificate once the system is in service.

Deviations from the standard and remedial fault actions are recorded and numbered directly on the certificate, with your own choice of numbering scheme, so they carry through cleanly to the finished PDF.
