Shine Forms is licensed to the computer. If your licence has expired, Shine Forms will warn you that it is running in "safe mode" when it starts:

Most features are not available when Shine Forms is in safe mode, and the ribbon will be mostly disabled:

However, you can still do the following:

- [Save the certificate's PDF](https://www.shineforms.co.uk/docs/saving-to-pdf).
- [Take a backup of your certificates](https://www.shineforms.co.uk/docs/backup).
- [Use the easy-access menu to get to your data folders](https://www.shineforms.co.uk/docs/save-and-backup-locations#accessing-your-data-folders).
