Free books. Free courses. Free exams. We've teamed up with [LearningLounge](https://www.learninglounge.com/) to give away six prizes, two Amendment 4 book bundles, two places on the 18th Edition Amendment 4 course and two places on the Electric Vehicle Equipment Installation course. Both are City & Guilds courses, and entering takes about a minute.

The old regs are withdrawn on 15 October, and this competition closes the very same day. Consider it our way of marking the occasion!

## What you can win

Six prizes are going to six electrical contractors, drawn at random.

✚ Two Amendment 4 book bundles, each with the new BS 7671 Amendment 4 Regulations book, the Onsite Guide and the Guidance Note on Inspection and Testing.

✚ Two places on the 18th Edition Amendment 4 online course, with six months of access, so you can get up to speed with the new regs and take the City & Guilds exam at the end.

✚ Two places on the Electric Vehicle Equipment Installation course, which qualifies you for EV charging work, again with the City & Guilds exam included.

Both courses are online and the exams are remotely invigilated, so you study and qualify at home, around your day job.

## Take it from Gary

Our very own [Gary Gundry](https://www.shineforms.co.uk/blog/2026/3/gary-gundry-bs7671) stars in the LearningLounge 18th Edition course as one of its technical presenters. He's also the new Chair of Committee C, part of JPEL/64, the national committee responsible for BS 7671. In English, that means he helps write the electrical regulations the course teaches.

His verdict is that it's probably (cough) the best online resource available. He would say that. But there aren't many people better placed to judge.

## About LearningLounge

The courses come from LearningLounge, award-winning content producers for the electrical industry and an approved City & Guilds examination centre. Their thing is media-rich e-learning that lifts complex technical topics off the pages of the 18th Edition and brings them to life with practical examples. Have a nose around at [learninglounge.com](https://www.learninglounge.com/). And the regs books all come from us, Shine Forms.

## How to enter

To enter, you need to do two things, and you must do both to be in the draw.

1. Follow the [Shine Forms LinkedIn page](https://www.linkedin.com/company/shine-forms/)
2. [Fill in the entry form](https://tally.so/r/BzbJAN)

We check that winners are following the page before any prize is confirmed, so make sure the follow is done. One entry per person, and the form takes about a minute.

Entries close at 23:59 on Thursday 15 October 2026.

## How winners are chosen

We'll choose six winners at random on Friday 16 October. We'll email winners within 48 hours and announce them on LinkedIn once they've confirmed.

Full terms and conditions are [here](https://www.shineforms.co.uk/competition). Course questions can go to LearningLounge at [info@learninglounge.com](mailto:info@learninglounge.com?subject=Shine Forms & LearningLounge Comp Question).

Good luck!
